 Dr. Klosterman grew up
in Kettering, Ohio, where he attended high school at Kettering
Fairmont. During his days in high school, he was an avid athlete,
participating in basketball, soccer, track and cross-country. Following
high school, he attended Ohio University where he graduated in June of
1993 with a Bachelor's degree in International Communications.
Dr. Klosterman worked
in the business field following graduation. It didn’t take long for him
to realize that this chosen career was not for him. Throughout high
school and college, he suffered from back pain, and just never really
felt right. After years of suffering from this, he finally went to see
a chiropractor. The results were amazing. It took awhile, but eventually
he was able to play basketball and stay active without the pain. In
addition, which was a surprise to him and a great added bonus, he
started to experience other benefits such as not getting sick as often,
having more energy, and just feeling like everything was working the way
God intended it to.
With results like that, and as
a young man who has always wanted to make a difference in the world, he
began to investigate the chiropractic profession. He understood its
science and philosophy, and to say the least, it had an effect on him.
Once Dr. Klosterman learned about the efficacy and benefits of
chiropractic care, and how much of a positive difference he could make
to his community and the world through chiropractic, nothing could stop
him from becoming a successful chiropractor himself. With that said,
Dr. Klosterman quit his job at the age of 23 and took off to Atlanta, GA
where he attended Life chiropractic university. He graduated from Life
Chiropractic University five years later in June of 1998!
Following graduation,
Dr. Klosterman took a job working for Dr. Richard Teeters in his
hometown of Kettering. He worked as an associate and eventually as an
independent contractor. As an independent contractor for Teeters
Chiropractic, Dr. Klosterman took an office in Franklin, OH and grew it
from just three patients in 1999 to over one-thousand in 2002. He
bought the practice from Dr. Teeters in 2002. In October of 2003, Dr.
Klosterman moved his practice from 1200 East Second St. in Franklin to
245 North Main Street in Springboro. His patient base has increased to
over 1600 and is continuing to grow every day.
Dr. Klosterman resides
in Springboro in close proximity to his practice. Many times during the
summer you can see him walking to and from his office. As a Springboro
resident, he is tapped into the community and surroundings communities.
He is proud to be a member of the Springboro Rotary Club and the
Franklin Lions Club. As an active member within the community, Dr.
Klosterman takes great pride in being a productive member giving
back when ever possible.
As a leader in the
chiropractic profession, he is committed to excellence. He is a member
of the Ohio State Chiropractic Association, past president and current
vice- president of the Miami Valley Chiropractic Society, member of the
National Wellness Foundation as well as the Chiropractic Leadership
Alliance. Dr. Klosterman is proficient in the use of various
chiropractic techniques, which include Gonstead, Activator, Diversified,
SOT, Toggle-Recoil, and Cox Decompression.
